Reaching New Heights

To meet the global demand for machine tools, Hyundai WIA is expanding its production capacity in Changwon, South Korea. These investments will bring Hyundai WIA’s production capacity from just over 8,600 to 14,600 machines per year. As a result, Hyundai WIA’'s will be positioned among the top 5 machine tool builders in the world.

Investmests are already under way to expand the R&D center in Eiwang, South Korea through the recruitment of professionals from all corners of the globe. By investing in R&D, Hyundai WIA will strengthen their ability to deliver advaned machine tool technology to the global metalworking marketplace.

Hyundai WIA has already made great strides in growing its breadth of product. Our portfolio has expanded from 40 major types, offered in 2005, to include over 100 major types available today. 

Be sure to visit Hyundai WIA’s IMTS exhibit (in South Hall booth #8948) where six new machines will be introduced to North American manufacturers, including; the F400VM and F500VM vertical machining centers, a KH630 horizontal machining center, an LV1400 vertical turning center, a L800A Bog Bore turning center, and the i-CUT320M high-speed vertical mill/drill center.
